Praise the
lord!
My name is Lalit khanchandani. I belong to a Sindhi (Hindu)
family. I currently reside in Dubai. By God's grace, I have got this opportunity to
give this testimony on our son Shubhang's behalf. Hereunder, I
will narrate to you how God has given second life to our son.
Our son,
Shubhang was
diagnosed with BLOOD CANCER (Leukemia) when he was 4 year old.
It
was a shocking moment for us. We desperately went to Mumbai for his treatment
where he took chemotherapy for 8 months. We came back to
Dubai after taking initial treatment to continue further
treatment from Dubai hospital.
Everything was
going smooth for six month until he got chickenpox. We were unaware
of any treatment available for chickenpox since
we didn’t take any treatment in our childhood. We did not give
any treatment to him for chickenpox because we were under the
impression that it will go within 5-6 days automatically.
However,
Shubhang's condition
grew worse on 3rd day of chickenpox. He suffered with pain in
whole body and he was shivering. Eventually he got unconscious. We immediately
rushed him to Dubai hospital where they kept him in ICU on
a ventilator machine for 21 days. By God's grace, he came back home after
recovering completely.
2 months after this
incident, we found some blood on his pillow spilled out of his
mouth while sleeping. We got worried and took him to Dubai hospital where he was
taking regular treatment for cancer. They did some blood test
and found that his platelet count was very low which was the reason of bleeding from his mouth. We
normally have platelet in the range of 150000-400000 in our body
and there is bleeding from mouth, nose or ear if the
platelet count goes below 30000-40000. |
Shubhang during treatment
 At
last, doctors from Dubai hospital refused to continue
his treatment and told us to go to any other big medical
center. Soon after this, my family went to India
(Mumbai) for further treatment. Doctor had informed us
that they could control the situation as long as the
bleeding comes from his mouth, ear or nose but they
would not be able to do anything if the bleeding goes in
the brain. So finally that happened which we dreaded.
After internal discussions, doctor finally asked us to
call all our relatives who wanted to see Shubhang in last stage, because there was no chance
to revive him.

Shubhang was given platelet transfusion and then he came back home.
Within few days, his
platelet count dropped again. We realized this when we went for his check-up
after 15 days. He took transfusion again but this time the
platelets survived only for 4-5 days. Doctor prescribed some
medicines for him to boost-up the platelets but the medicine
failed after some time. Doctors kept on changing the medicine,
but every new medicine had
same story - it would work in his body on 1st attempt but
later on it would stop working.
This platelet up-down process went on for one year.
This
disease is called ITP (low platelet) which can happen to any
person and can be cured by doctoral care, but Shubhang's case
was different. It was a difficult situation for doctors to treat a patient who had
cancer along with ITP (low platelet). Our son had taken all the expensive medicines i.e. Immunoglobine,
Prednesalone and many more, but after some time doctors informed
us that none of these medicines
were
working on his body to increase platelet count anymore.
At last, doctors from Dubai hospital refused to continue his
treatment and told us to go to any other big medical center. They said that
they had tried every medicine under the sun and now there
was no other medicine left to be given to Shubhang. It means no hospital in the
whole wide world had any other treatment except Spleen removal.
We did not
want that because after this, he would be totally dependent on medicine
throughout his life
after removal of spleen from his body.
We were totally confused and kept on thinking “what to do & where
to go?”. We
didn’t have sufficient money also but God graciously provided financial support
to carry on such an expensive treatment.
It was one of our last few days in Dubai hospital (since we were
asked to take Shubhang to another hospital) when one sister from
a church came to pray for one patient
whose bed was next to our son’s bed.
She was kind enough to pray for Shubhang also and told us that
“believe in Jesus
& he will heal your son”. And at the same time, two more brothers came
to us from church and prayed for our son.
Soon after this, my family went to India (Mumbai) for further treatment.
We wanted to save our son and therefore my family
got in touch with brothers, sisters & pastor of local
church in Mumbai. Our son was treated with the same medicines
in Mumbai as in Dubai hospital and result were same too.
Doctor had informed us that they could control the situation
as long as the bleeding comes from his mouth, ear or nose but they
would not be able to do anything if the bleeding goes in the brain. After few days Shubhang complained of pain in his head and MRI was done
immediately. Doctors
found that there was leakage of blood in his brain & his brain
got swollen due to low platlets. So finally that happened which
we dreaded. Our son was totally unconscious so they shifted him in ICU.
Slowly, he reached in semi-coma stage.
The doctor, who was treating Shubhang, is one of the
famous and successful doctors in Asia; yet he
also got scared & felt helpless in this situation.
No doctor was able to clarify the condition of our son
because they lost all the hope since it is a matter of brain
hemorrhage. After internal discussions, doctor finally asked us to call all our relatives
who wanted to see Shubhang in last stage, because there was no chance
to revive him.
My wife was sitting just next to
Shubhang in ICU, she was reading
the BIBLE whole night and claiming the word of God that “Lord
Jesus, by your
stripes Shubhang is healed”. Everyone was praying for Shubhang.
A great miracle took place that night because of our faith in
Jesus Christ and his holy word - The Bible. The same medicine which was not working
earlier, all of a sudden started working & Shubhang’s platelet counts reached up to
higher level (480000) by the grace of living God JESUS.
All the doctors were astonished to see Shubhang next day
morning. They were asking us, “what did you do?” They knew
that it was a helpless situation according to medical science
and they had tried their best and FAILED. We told
them that we just prayed to Jesus who is the doctor of doctors &
his work starts from the point where our working ceases. Our son recovered so fast that they shifted him from
ICU to normal ward within two days and discharged him in another
two days. All the doctors were surprised to see Shubhang
getting
discharged in a short period of four days.
Our son Shubhang is 9 year old now & he is perfectly all right by the
grace of God. Nothing adverse has affected his brain (even the
whole body) but the grace of God, which makes him
intelligent, sharp-minded, active, prayerful and humble boy,
different from many kids of his age. We are forever reverentially thankful to God and
grateful to all our believer brothers and sisters,
who prayed for Shubhang as he was passing through the dark
valley. Even those who extended their financial support are
worthy of all our gratitude. We give
all the glory to Jesus name for his loving kindness & mercies
upon us and our dear son.
By this incident,
God demonstrated his love and concern
towards us and we came to know about the true and living God,
who has created us and is interested in us to save and pardon us
from all our sins and unrighteousness. We have believed
completely in Lord Jesus from that time itself for our salvation
and eternal life in heaven. Now we know that
every good blessing comes from God and there is no true joy,
peace and forgiveness of sins without faith in Jesus Christ.
None of our good works, religious activities can save us from
the holy judgment of God except our trust in the sacrifice of Jesus on the
cross, faith on which brings salvation to us. No one can see God
by these mortal eyes, but we can see him through his gracious
works. No one can stand before him unless we are holy, and we
are made holy by the sanctifying work of Jesus Christ on the
cross. Believe it.
Dear Reader, Do you know now that Jesus Christ
is the absolute truth, who is above all sickness and sufferings.
He can heal the fatal sicknesses and deal with out sins. He
can give life and he can take it. Salvation (moksha) can come only by faith
in Jesus Christ, the true and living God. If you have not believed
in him yet, you can believe
in this peacemaker and sin-forgiving God for eternal life now. It
does not matter, which religion you belong to, it does not
matter what you have done or how big sinner you are, you can
trust in him and he will save you. God bless you.

Lord, please pray the following prayer with all your heart –
“Dear God, today I have come to know that you are living
God who forgive sins, gives true peace and hear your children's
cry when they are in utter need. You bring healing to our bodies
and our souls. I repent of all my sins today and I pray to you
to kindly
forgive my sins and be my savior. Please grant me your peace and
life. I completely trust in you and give my life to you, please
take control of my life today onwards. I thank you for listening to me
now. In Jesus name I ask you all this. Amen.”
